Rai Furniss-Greasley

I’ve been at UoB in one guise or another for 12 years now with the last 5 of those years working within IT Services. I am currently based within the End User Services section of IT, which is the part that directly supports everyone else with their computing needs, and have been quietly advocating for the Union to my colleagues for years so I decided it might be time to make it more official.

Before ITS, I was working in Library Services and originally I was an undergraduate here. From my experiences over the years I know that there are some things the University could still do well to improve upon to keep us up to par with our Redbrick rivals! I have a particular interest in how the University and the Unions can cooperate to improve working life for disabled staff.
