Annual General Meeting – 1-3pm, Wed 13th February in Arts LR1 (with lunch from 12.30pm)

Run for an officer position at the next AGM!

Your UNISON Annual General Meeting is taking place between 1-3pm on Wednesday 13th February in Arts Lecture Room 1. The AGM is your opportunity to raise issues that matter to you, stand for your UNISON branch committee, vote for who you want to be your branch officers, set branch policy and prioritise the work of your UNISON branch.

A new committee will be voted for 2019/2020. Please consider running for an officer position! A list of all the roles available within the branch can be found here: https://uobunison.org.uk/unison-officer-roles

Food will be served from 12:30pm onwards – this is in your own time (you are still entitled to a lunch-break) but it’s a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other members.

Time off to attend

You are allowed 2 hours paid time off work to attend the AGM. This should not be unreasonably refused by your line manager however we recognise not everyone can attend from each area. Please let your line manager know you want to attend as soon as possible. If you have any questions or problems please contact us.

Nomination forms need to be sent to ioana.unison@gmail.com before 5pm on Tuesday the 12th of February (we sent you the form by email).
