About the film:

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHvz5kBkD0U

Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, Made in Dagenham is based on a true story about a group of spirited women who joined forces, took a stand for what was right, and in doing so, found their own inner strength. Daring to stand up and push boundaries, the women changed a system that no one wanted to admit was broken.

This is a chance for all of us to get together, relax, socialise, and celebrate the success of trade union members in the past. The film might give us some good food for thought in terms of what we can do together on campus, to campaign for improved conditions of work! If you’d like to help organise other social and educational events, please do get in touch!
